The magnet school application process has begun. Applications can be picked up in the school office during regular school hours. Applications are due by December 5th. Applications must be turned in or mailed to the district office in Darlington.

From the Principal

Thornwell School for the Arts is enjoying its renovated campus on Carolina Avenue. Spacious classrooms are equipped with updated technologies and inviting environments for learners. A science lab is available for hands-on experiments, a computer lab for research, and an art room for creative pursuits. Thematic instructional units provide integration of content area instruction.

With a highly qualified and dedicated staff, the school day is a high energy endeavor.

We invite parents to visit often and support children in the educational process.
